WEEKLY ART CLASSES: 9 week Term, 2 hour classes. Join Ann in her 'Restless Painters Studio', for small, friendly and relaxed classes
Tuesdays 9.30 - 11.30 and 7pm -9pm
ACRYLICS: (Suitable for beginners and intermediate)
Whether you are new to acrylics or someone who has had some experience, but feels they need help to conquer some of the challenges of using acrylics and various associated mediums, you will find this workshop to be extremely helpful and informative. The main focus of this workshop is, not to create a lovely painting, but to gain a more thorough knowledge of acrylics and their application.

• Tuition covering colour mixing, tone, brush and application techniques, the purpose and application of various acrylic mediums, mixed media and collage. Workshops are limited to approximately 8 students to ensure quality tuition.

PASTELS: (Suitable for beginners and intermediate)
Pastel is a very tactile, vibrant and versatile medium, which is not often used to its fullest potential. This workshop will explore some of exciting applications and mixed media techniques, to which this medium lends itself. Workshops are limited to approximately 8 students to ensure quality tuition.

OILS: (Basics Workshop for Beginners)
This workshop is ideal for complete beginners and for those who are not so new, but have been struggling with the fundamentals of the medium. The focus will be on the basic techniques of oil painting and will cover, colour mixing, tone, brush strokes, composition and basic care of equipment.

PAINTING CREATIVELY FROM PHOTOGRAPHS: (Beginners & intermediate)
For artists who work occasionally or totally from photographs, this workshop could be one of the most important workshops you will undertake.
Whilst photographs are a wonderful source of reference for painting, there are some important elements the artist needs to be aware of or wary of, in order to create a successful rendering. A lack of understanding regarding the differences in the way the camera records a scene and the way in which the human eye views a scene will often mean the difference between a bad to average painting and a very good painting.
DATE: Saturday, 8th and Sunday 9th April. 2017. 9am to 4pm.
FEE: $300 or early bird fee $270.00 (if booked and paid in full 21 days prior to workshop date)
