5 Lands Art Trail
Connecting People to People and People to Place
AN ART TRAIL FROM THE BUSH TO THE BEACH
Surrounded by beautiful scenery, fresh coastal air, lush wooded valleys and picturesque villages, our 5 Lands Art trail is birthed from a vibrant artistic community, which aims to foster and develop arts on the central coast – from the bush to the sea, by bringing people together and creating a unique regional experience for our visitors.
Voted one of the top 5 Central Coast Experiences and including over 20 Central Coast Artists , The 5 Lands Art Trail is a unique opportunity for art lovers to meet artists in their own space, talk to them about their practice and experience the process of making visual art in a variety of forms.
The 5 Lands Art Trail combines art, artists and people who love and embrace the arts as well as our natural environment on the central coast. It creates a collection of vibrant and significant creative work that makes an important contribution to one of the most vital areas of current visual arts, connecting people to place in deeply engaging and compelling ways.
Connected by a peaceful meandering coastal drive, twenty working studios of artists and artisans exhibiting their wares and in some instances demonstrating their skills, makes this trail not only an educational experience but also a great idea for a weekend getaway in just over an hour from Sydney CBD.
The 5 Lands Art Trail is open 11AM -5 pm March and Nov 4,5 and also June 25, 11-3 following the 5 Lands Walk festival on June 24th.
Look for the orange flags on display at all the open studios on the day.
Purchases of artwork can be made directly from the artists.
